Presidio La Bahia's Living History Program was developed to provide the public with an accurate reenactment of the massacre of Colonel Fannin and his men. The reenactors wear the uniforms and clothing of the time period, 1836. This extensive site has photographs from the last three years of the event.
Mark Day has put together a documentary on the Irish soldiers who deserted to the Mexican side during the invasion of Mexico (Mexican-American War). This framed site has content on the San Patrucio's, information about the documentary, as well as info & links about the movie "One Man's Hero".
The pages under this one are part of the larger Reliving History Magazine site. This links to pages with a goodly number of pictures of reenactment of the battles of San Pasqual, San Gabriel and other fiestas and events associated with Mexican/American War reeenactment.
This site is the support site for a group of living historians who replicate the Mexican military experience of the first half of 19th Century, primarily during the Texas Revolution. They have pages for Mexican-American War and French Intervention impressions that are still under construction.
