The Virginia Coast Reserve Long-Term Ecological Research Project (VCR/LTER) focuses on understanding the ecosystems and dynamics of the barrier island/lagoon/marsh system on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The site includes support materials for researchers including data, images, publication lists, and full-text documents. It is part of the NSF-funded U.S. LTER Network.
