Workshop that examined the potential advances that can be achieved by inclusion of observatory-based measurements, assimilative modeling techniques and other emerging technologies into coastal research initiatives.
A forum to advance the key issues in European marine research and intends in particular to foster the exchange of ideas across the boundaries of science, administration and policy. Therefore, all administrators and politicians as well as scientists and engineers from the private and public sectors in marine science and ocean technology are invited to attend and participate in the discussions or present papers.
II International Symposium on the water masses exchange Physical Oceanography of Strait of Gibraltar with emphasis on physical processes and their consequences on the marine biology and the numerical simulation of physical and bio-chemical processes on its surroundings.
The European Land-Ocean Interactions Studies meeting is open to all scientists with an interest in the complex and multiple problems of the coastal zone. At this meeting the scientific results from fifteen major EU projects will be synthesised.
